RedBox Does Video Games Too!

I posted recently about the convenient, affordable, and easy-to-use RedBox DVD/Blu-ray/Video Game rental kiosks that are popping everywhere! At any of over 28,000 RedBox locations nationwide, you can rent movies (both DVD and Blu-ray formats) as well as video games. Prices range from $1.20 per night to $1.50 per night depending on format. You can rent for one night or more by just swiping your debit/credit card. As long as you return your movie or video game rentals by 9:00 PM the next night, you are only charged for one night.

Recently we were given some free video game rentals from RedBox and asked to throw a get-together with friends to test out the new games. We’ve rented DVDs and Blu-rays from RedBox on numerous occassions, but never a video game. I was excited to see several different game formats and several new releases to choose from. We tried out a couple new games including  Go Vacation for Wii, and Wipeout 2 for Wii. The kids are obsessed with both games and I was super happy that they were so family-friendly. At our get-together, our friends (guys and gals) all got a  kick out of the games, but the favorite ended up being Wipeout 2! We had a blast playing Wii, chowing down on pizza, and even squeezing in a little ping pong…

One of my favorite things about RedBox is that you don’t have to take your rental back to the same kiosk you got it from. Take it back to whatever RedBox location is convenient for you! Right now you can find a whole host of video games and movies at RedBox. Check out the RedBox website (www.redbox.com) to find out what video games and movies are available right now at your local RedBox locations. You can even reserve rentals online and pick them up later. Plus, when you reserve online, you only pay $1 for the first night! I am also a big fan of the RedBox app (available for both Apple and Android devices). With the RedBox app you can easily find RedBox locations near you, find a movie or game rental, and reserve it all from your phone! Be sure to check out the RedBox Facebook page and follow @RedBox on Twitter for info and rental code giveaways!
