About Us

My name is Angie Knutson, and my husband, Jeremy, and I are the mom and dad behind My Four Monkeys. My Four Monkeys is a product review site for moms and dads, new parents, veteran parents, homeschooling families, stay-at-home moms and dads, working moms and dads, parents to one, parents to more, any and all. Here’s a little bit about us: My husband works a full time job and I’m a SAHM. We are Christian, 30-something, parents to four fabulous kiddos, ranging in age from 11 years old to 3 years old. We have two girls and two boys.

Caitlyn is our oldest. Even though she’s only eleven years old, we like to call her our “old soul”. She is currently in the sixth grade, and is an avid reader. She loves to dance, swim, and ride her bike. Caitlyn has a great love of crafting and drawing as well. As usual with oldest girls, she likes to be “mommy’s right hand man”, and relishes in her role. Or as her little brother says, “She’s bossy!” For Caitlyn, we are always on the lookout for the best crafting products and art supplies for kids, great books, and any products that will allow her extensive imagination to roam.

Kylie is nine years old, and by far the most spirited of all the children. She’s a constant ball of energy, and unpredictable in every way. One moment she’s climbing a tree or chasing a bullfrog across the yard, and the next she’s busy painting her toenails. She is a red belt in Tae Kwon Do, loves to swim, and draw, and is very athletic. Kylie’s a cuddler, and textures are very important to her. Softness is key! With her bouts of eczema, we are always on the lookout for the best skincare products, and the softest fabrics.

John David is seven years old, and the oldest boy. He is a typical little boy, obsessed with all things pirate and superheroes. He has recently discovered video games, Legos, and sports. He loves the outdoors, Tae Kwon Do, and riding his bike. John David is now an avid reader as well and loves to read books, especially ones that involve dinosaurs or pirates. He loves his sisters, but as any little brother, he gets tired of them telling him what to do! With John David’s tendency to obsess about one particular toy or activity, we’re always on the look out for any product that will introduce him to something new, educate him, and spark his interest.

Luke is the baby of our family and is three years old. He is running around and into everything! He is a ball of energy just like Kylie, and very curious about buttons and switches. Luke is starting to communicate much better, and we are really enjoying seeing his personality develop. We’re always on the lookout for the best toddler toys (especially anything to do with airplanes and cars), and the softest loveys for our blankie boy!

We are a very active homeschooling family, and love the outdoors. Just like every other mom, I am always on the look out for the best products at the best price, those products that will last through a wrestling match in the backyard, that will educate, that will entertain, or that will make my job as a mom and wife the least bit easier. We have a faith filled home, and you can guarantee that this site will provide a family friendly atmosphere.

My Four Monkeys was birthed as a way to spread the word about our favorite products, the products we use for play-time, school-time, relaxing-time, cleaning-time, and more. Our prayer is that this site will be a blessing to you, and in the least entertain you! With four kids, you can be assured that all products we review will be put to the test!
